William Green’s series remains one of the first and still one of the best tech/history books of WW2 aircraft.
Small in size (5.5×5 in) the books are large in stature.
Despite the short aircraft bio’s (accompanied with black & white photos and view drawings), each review is highly detailed yet accessible to even pedestrian readers of flight histories.
Green’s 10 vol series first appeared in 1960 with aircraft presented by nationality within type.
An essential addition to any flight library.
