Description

Good overall condition for its age with a few chips and cracks – see photos.
Ceramic plate with a moulded edge which has highlights picked out and gilded. 
 
The rim is shaped to the moulded parts. 
 
Plate has a shallow incline with a printed transfer wreath of coloured pink flowers with a garland of small blue flowers around the main printed image. 
 
In the centre is a brown transfer print showing a terrace with shop front. 
 
The printed text states ‘Tantobie Cooperative Society Limited 1861 – Jubilee – 1911’. Green stamped mark on the base features a sheaf of corn and ‘C W S / Labor and Wait / Longton’.
