Enid Blyton’s Sunny Stories

This new series of Sunny Stories was written by Enid Blyton up to No. 553. However, Nos. 554 onwards had no Blyton content. As one issue was combined as a double issue, there are actually only 552 magazines in the series. It started life as a weekly magazine, but from No. 272 onwards it became fortnightly, though due to industrial action there was the occasional longer gap between issues. The first 277 issues were titled Enid Blyton’s Sunny Stories, but from No. 278 onwards it was simply Sunny Stories by Enid Blyton.
